I made this striking piece for a friend and return customer in Teignmouth. I made them a Green Man panel for their garden house sometime ago and recently they asked me to make them a panel for the lift door of their house. The customers mobility is restricted and they have remodelled the house to accommodate their changing needs. This panel transforms a functional space into a work of art.
The panel is made using traditional leading techniques and is painted with kiln fired enamels and silver stain and I very much enjoyed painting all the details in the flowers on this piece.
