New bathroom window installation

I made these 4 fishy panels back in September 2024 and they are a variation on one of my most popular designs, of a shoal of fish. All my designs are different and unique to the commission, but my own imaginary species of fish have been a reoccurring motif for at least a decade! There is lots of painted details on the fish, all kiln fired and I have used light shades of glass to allow plenty of light into the room. I think they have turned out very well and the customer feed back was great, "I can’t get over how good they look!"

My leaded panels were shipped up to Manchester and then encapsulated into triple glazed units. 6 months later and the period house renovation is at the stage where the new bathroom windows have been installed. Increasingly my work is sandwiched into modern glazing, this allows customers to have all the beauty of stained glass with the thermal benefits and building control requirements of modern building control compliance. The client has merged the separate bathroom and toilet into one bigger room, but kept the original sash window style and i am looking forward to seeing how they look once the walls are plastered and the renovation finished.
